Kirby Warns The Press About Israel Conflict – VIDEO

On October 24, 2023, National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby took part in the White House Press Briefing, and he didn’t mince words.

A reporter asked two questions to Kriby. The first was asking what the administration was doing to get US citizens trapped in Gaza out.

There have been reports that US citizens went to Rafah, which is the southern border of Gaza with Egypt but are unable to leave.

“This is something that Ambassador Satterfield is working really, really hard.  I mean, obviously, a prime focus for us is the several hundred Americans that we know are there.  And, actually, I don’t know exactly how many are down at Rafah, but we know there are many American citizens down at Rafah that want to get out.  And he’s working that very hard,” Kirby said.

The same reporter then asked about casualties in Gaza and it seemed to irk Kirby. Below is a partial transcript:

Reporter: So, the Gaza Health Ministry, obviously run by Hamas, said about 700 people were killed in an Israeli airstrike today.  First of all, is that a figure that the U.S. government can verify?

MR. KIRBY:  No.

Reporter:   Okay.  And —

MR. KIRBY:  And I think you was right by you saying that the Ministry of Health is run by Hamas.  And I think that all needs to be factored into anything that they put out publicly.

Reporter:   Right, right.  And it — this is sort of related to Nancy’s question, but setting — you know, setting aside whether that 700 figure is correct or not, I’m wondering if the administration is having concerns that the Israeli response has been disproportionate in response to the obviously horrific attack that we’ve seen from Hamas.

MR. KIRBY:  We’re going to avoid trying to react to every single event on the battlefield.  We all saw last week how quick reactions to events on the battlefield turned out to be inaccurate.

What Kirby said next shows that the White House isn’t pretending anymore.

“This is war, it is combat, it is bloody, it is ugly, and it’s going to be messy. And innocent civilians are going to be hurt going forward,” he said.

On the same day, Biden told a reporter that the “Israelis can make their own decisions.”

Blinken also told the United Nations that the USA doesn’t want war with Iran but if they attack (which they already did) the US will defend itself.

Also, something else weird happened.

Apparently, the talking points have gone out and phone calls have been made, even the far-left host of the View, Joy Behar attacked Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib.

She compared Tlaib to Trump.

Behar said Tlaib “still will not admit that that attack on the hospital came from Hamas. They have videos showing it, but she goes out there and lies like Trump.”

What happens next is anyone’s guess but the White House appears to be posturing for a confrontation and is trying to get the dissension in their party on board.
