Biden Claim Comes Under Scrutiny

Biden is back from vacation and whatever it was supposed to do it doesn’t appear that it helped.

We’ve all seen that the President likes to tell stories like his debunked Amtrak claims and others. Perhaps he may have told his biggest tall tale yet.

Biden claimed that he got Strom Thurmond to vote for the Civil Rights Act before he died.

“I was able to literally, not figuratively, talk Strom Thurmond into voting for the Civil Rights Act before he died,” Biden claimed.

Before the fact checkers start changing things, below is a screenshot of a Wikipedia article about Strom Thurmond, who not only voted against the Civil Rights Act but voted against the Voting Rights Act of 1965 as well.

A White House spokesperson said that Biden was instrumental in getting Thurmond to vote for the Voting Rights Act, in 1980.

As if that makes everything better.

The man can’t keep his details straight and he’s fresh off a vacation marathon.

Below are some more Biden highlights from August 28, 2023.
