Biden, While in Arizona, Says ‘NO’ to Border Visit

Americans living along the southern border, along with their local lawmakers, have been imploring the federal government for assistance in tackling the complex and grand problem of illegal immigration to no avail.

The Biden administration’s abject refusal to heed their requests has been frustrating, offensive, and dangerous, yet the White House seems completely unfazed by it all.  In fact, the President himself recently irked Arizonians by flatly refusing to visit the border while he was already in the Copper State.

President Joe Biden on Tuesday said he would not visit the southern border during his trip to Arizona, despite an ongoing migration crisis.

The president spoke briefly with reporters as he left the White House for a trip to Arizona to promote new investments in semiconductor chip manufacturing.

His statement was terse.

When asked why he was going to a border state without visiting the border, Biden replied, “Because there are more important things going on.”

The entire administration has been rather negligent as it pertains to the border over the course of the last two years, with VP Kamala Harris taking on the role of “border czar” and then failing to visit any of the affected regions for over 90 days.

This latest ridiculous refusal to address a very serious problem in the United States, (and beyond), could come back to haunt Biden and his fellow Democrats come 2024.
