China Issues Statement On War In Israel

Funny, not a peep out of them when the Hamas massacre took place but all of a sudden, now, the Chinese are jumping into the Israeli conflict.

The death toll in Gaza continues to rise as Israel and Hamas trade blows with no apparent end in sight. Deaths from the Israeli air strikes on the Gaza Strip have gone well “beyond the scope of self-defense,” Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on a call with Saudi Arabia Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.

China has been vocal in opposing the violence in Gaza, condemning “all acts that harm civilians” while prioritizing the delivery of “basic needs” to the people in Gaza who have been affected by the siege and blockade of key supplies like food, water, and medicine.

So, all of a sudden, China is worried about civil rights.

More than 1 million residents of northern Gaza have been warned to move south by the Israel Defense Forces.

Egypt did reopen its border with Gaza to allow civilians to flee.

“We have put in place, Egypt has put in place a lot of material support for people in Gaza, and Rafah will be reopened,” Blinken told reporters after having a “very good conversation” with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.

“We are putting into place — with the United Nations, with Egypt, with Israel, with others — the mechanism by which to get the assistance in and to get it to the people who need it,” he added.

Israel is preparing for the “next stage” of operations, according to the IDF spokesperson, as it continues to “attack different military targets belonging to Hamas.”

You may have noticed a shift in the reporting now but recent polls show that 78% of Americans support Israel.
