Conservative Talk Show Topples The King of Late Night

In the dawning of the MAGA Movement, there was a very real sense that America was set to go through some conservative awakening.  The moral majority was apparently also the silent majority, and they would find their voice via one of the least silent politicians of all time:  Donald J. Trump.

The “America First” ethos was soon spreading around the nation like a brush fire, gobbling up the radical left’s already disillusioned folks with the wind at its back.

Now, even after Trump has left office, (and faces some of his largest legal trouble yet), the country is turning to the right…and the toppling of Stephen Colbert as the “late night king” proves it.

Greg Gutfeld is the new king of late-night television, marking the first time in history that a cable program achieved the lofty benchmark of most-watched late-night show for an entire month as “Gutfeld!” finished August atop all competitors.

“Gutfeld!” averaged 2.19 million viewers to defeat CBS’ “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” which averaged 2.15 viewers. It was the first month since January 2017 that Colbert didn’t finish as the No. 1 late-night program between broadcast and cable.

Other left leaning programming fared even worse against Gutfeld.

August was the most-watched month for “Gutfeld!” since it launched in April 2021, as the Fox News program also outdrew ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” NBC’s “Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon” and  Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show.”

“Gutfeld!” more than doubled the average audience for CNN’s most-watched show, as “Anderson Cooper 360” averaged only 950,000 nightly viewers.

And the news becomes even more noteworthy when we you consider the fact that Hollywood’s leftist slant prevents many big stars from agreeing to agree on “Gutfeld!”.
