Riley Gaines & Keith Olbermann Have Dust Up Online

Holy cow!

Former NCAA star and now activist Riley Gaines absolutely crushed the now-reduced to internet troll Kieth Olberman.

Let’s look at this from an objective point of view.

Riley Gaines was one of the top swimmers in the nation. You don’t get there by being a slouch. She clearly has a work ethic and knows how to push through adversity.

Gaines has been an advocate after the Lia Thomas controversy and commented on a Nebraska Democrat state senator who was condemning a “Women’s Bill of Rights.”

From the New York Post:

Olbermann was responding to a post Gaines made in defense of a “Women’s Bill of Rights,” which postulates that “males and females possess immutable biological differences.”

Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen is reportedly the second governor in America who has established the “Women’s Bill of Rights,” telling constituents that it’s “common sense that men do not belong in women’s only spaces” Wednesday.

For some reason, Olbermann responded, saying she was a lousy swimmer.

“Can you just address the reality and move past it? You sucked at swimming. That’s why you lost,” he replied on social media.

Gaines hit back, saying that it “makes sense why he got fired from ESPN” when he was fact-checked by X’s (formerly Twitter) Community Notes system.

That prompted Olbermann to make this sort of strange looking post.

Well, Gaines responded and it was devastating, she posted her trophy wall.

That’s what the kids call a “mic drop.”
