Appeals Court Issues Ruling On Hunter Case

The first son, Hunter Biden has gotten back a ruling from a federal appeals court and it wasn’t in his favor.

Hunter, who was indicted in September on three charges surrounding a firearm purchase in 2018, lost his bid to dismiss or delay the trial. Attorneys of the First son argued that there was no reason for an immediate trial that is expected to begin in June.

The three judge panel – that did not give a opinion or reasoning – disagreed and this case will be followed by another trial in California where Hunter has been accused of tax related charges.

From Just the News:

The three judged panel did not include an opinion or reasoning for the rejection, but the trial comes ahead of another trial in California next month, where Biden has been accused of failing to pay taxes, failing to file taxes, evading a tax assessment, and filing a fraudulent form, per NBC News. That trial will begin on June 20, while the gun trial will begin June 3.

There was also a interesting report in Politico on May 15, 2024 that may be worth paying attention too.

According to Politico “three advisers granted anonymity to speak about private deliberations” said that they, and members of the family was “worried about the weight Hunter Biden’s trial” will have on Biden.

“He worries about Hunter every single day, from the moment he wakes up to the moment he goes to sleep,” said one of the three advisers. “That will only pick up during a trial.”

From Politico:

There is a gingerness among the president’s team about how to approach the matter. With few exceptions, White House aides don’t bring up the subject of Hunter Biden with the president, for fear of an angry rebuke or an icy stare, according to two of those people familiar with the president’s reactions. All spoke only on condition of anonymity to describe the personal elements of the presidency.

“He worries about Hunter every single day, from the moment he wakes up to the moment he goes to sleep,” said one of the three advisers. “That will only pick up during a trial.”

It is a very interesting story to say the least as Biden’s approval rating continues to stink.
