Gabbard Sends Referral To DOJ

As Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard dropped a political bombshell this week—formally referring top Obama-era intelligence officials for criminal investigation over their alleged roles in manufacturing the now-debunked Russiagate narrative—there’s been no shortage of names in the documents. But there has been a stunning shortage of responses from the people accused.

James Comey? Declined to comment.

John Brennan and James Clapper? “Did not immediately respond to requests for comment,” according to Fox News Digital and Politico—a phrase that’s now appearing like clockwork in the absence of any rebuttals.

The newly declassified files, handed over to the Justice Department Monday, implicate a staggering array of high-level officials: former President Barack Obama, former CIA Director John Brennan, former DNI James Clapper, former National Security Advisor Susan Rice, former Secretary of State John Kerry, former Attorney General Loretta Lynch, and former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, among others.

The referral, which the DOJ confirmed receiving, points to deliberate political orchestration inside the highest levels of government—a calculated effort to delegitimize President Donald Trump before he even took office. And yet, the architects of the scheme are nowhere to be found.

Comey, once all too eager to pontificate on morality and “higher loyalty,” now appears to have no loyalty to transparency. Brennan, who never met a left-leaning camera he didn’t love, has gone radio silent. Clapper and Rice—likewise MIA.

It’s telling. These officials once flooded cable news studios and talk circuits with dire warnings about Trump’s alleged ties to Moscow. Now that their names are in a criminal referral accusing them of weaponizing intelligence to fabricate the entire premise? Not a word.

Even former President Obama, whose name now appears alongside these intelligence leaders in official documents tied to the scheme, has yet to offer any public response. No statement. No clarification. No denial. Just… silence.

Gabbard, meanwhile, has continued her push for full transparency—releasing another cache of previously classified files this week related to the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Her office shows no signs of slowing down. The reckoning is not only coming—it’s accelerating.

So, where are the defenders of the intelligence establishment now? Hiding behind silence? Waiting for the greenroom lights at MSNBC? Or just hoping the story dies before it catches fire?
