So John Kriby has been around a really long time and is generally well respected. Don’t get me wrong he’s a spin master and member of the Beltway Democrats. However, he’s more than likely one of the most competent members of the president’s staff.
When things get real dicey for the Biden administration, the White House has a habit of sending Kirby, the National Security Council spokesman, to take some heat on Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.
As of late, Kirby is struggling to cover for President Biden especially after he lied over his whereabouts following the 9/11 attack.
A reporter asked, “John, in the past couple of weeks, the President has lied about being at Ground Zero the day after the September 11th attacks, falsely claimed he saw the Pittsburgh bridge collapse, claimed his grandfather died in the hospital days before his birth. What is going on with the President? Is he just believing things that didn’t happen did happen, or is he just randomly making stuff up?”
Kriby bobbed and weaved to answer the reporter.
Kirby said the President was “touched and honored” to spend 9/11 with military members.
Adding: “He spoke about a visit to Ground Zero, which he did participate in about a week or so after the — the event, and what that looked and what that smelled and what like — that felt like. And it had a visceral impact on him, as it did so many other Americans on that terrible day.”
Reporter: The President has lied about being at Ground Zero the day after the attacks, falsely claimed he saw the Pittsburgh bridge collapse, etc.

As if that wasn’t bad enough Kriby was asked about the latest Iran deal and he had to defend the indefensible.
REPORTER: “You just said Iran is not gonna do this for nothing. But, didn’t they also get five Iranians [prisoners]”
KIRBY: “They will get five Iranians.”
REPORTER: “Why did we need to add $6 billion dollars on top of that?”
KIRBY: “This is the deal we were able to strike to secure the release of five Americans.”
In other words, America paid a ransom of $1.2 billion a head to the leaders of Iran. By the way, the look on his face at the beginning of this clip says it all.
REPORTER: “You just said Iran is not gonna do this for nothing. But, didn’t they also get five Iranians [prisoners]”
KIRBY: “They will get five Iranians.”
