Pelosi Comments On Protests During Interview

President Biden did not have a good weekend.

Things are starting to pile up.

The border issue is now a bipartisan issue; he had to suspend funding to the UN over allegations, a large arab community in Michigan is refusing to meet with him, his hopes of getting Bibi to end the war with Hamas have failed, and then there’s the situation in Texas.

You know, things are getting to him because the guy went off the handle during a speech.

Biden repeated the debunked claim that Trump called deceased veterans “suckers and losers.”

“Well, as Commander-in-Chief, I look at veterans completely differently than Donald Trump.  Think about this — especially here in South Carolina, a proud military state — Donald Trump, when he was Commander-in-Chief, refused to visit a cemetery — U.S. cemetery outside of Paris for fallen American soldiers.  And he referred to those heroes, and I quote, as ‘suckers’ and ‘losers.’  He actually said that.  He said that,” Biden said.

“How dare he say that.  How dare he talk about my son and all like that,” yelled like a madman. “Look, I call them patriots and heroes.  The only loser I see is Donald Trump. It makes me angry.”

Not long before Biden’s unhinged rant, news broke in Detroit that Arab leaders in Dearborn, Michigan, had canceled a meeting with the Biden campaign because they were furious with his policy toward Israel.

It’s no wonder why it reported a few days later that Biden is considering slowing weapons deliveries to get leverage on Netanyahu to scale back operations in the Gaza Strip. However, Bibi Netanyahu has already said that if the country has to, they’ll do it alone.

Well, Pelosi may have made matters worse.

As many of you know, many pro-Palenstinia protests have taken place. They have even heckled Biden and now call him “genocide Joe.”

During an appearance on CNN Pelosi was asked about protestors that are demanding a cease-fire.

“But for them to call for a cease-fire is Mr. Putin’s message, Mr. Putin’s message. Make no mistake, this is directly connected to what he would like to see. Same thing with Ukraine. It’s about Putin’s message,” Pelosi said. “I think some of these — some of these protesters are spontaneous and organic and sincere. Some, I think, are connected to Russia. And I say that having looked at this for a long time now, as you know.”

Pelosi said she didn’t believe that the protestors are “plants” but added, “I think some financing should be investigated. And I want to ask the FBI to investigate that.”

Pelosi’s veiled threat didn’t go over well, and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) blasted Pelosi.

“We are deeply disturbed by Former House Speaker Pelosi’s comments,” CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad said. “Rep. Pelosi’s claim that some of the Americans protesting for a Gaza ceasefire are working with Vladimir Putin sounds delusional and her call for the FBI to investigate those protesters without any evidence is downright authoritarian.”

“Sadly, Rep. Pelosi’s comments echo a time in our nation when opponents of the Vietnam War were accused of being communist sympathizers and subjected to FBI harassment,” Awad continued.

“Hundreds of thousands of Americans, including many young people, progressive activists, and Jewish, Muslim, Palestinian, and Black Americans, have been protesting to call for a ceasefire in Gaza. Millions more Americans support a ceasefire, including the majority of Democrats.”

He went on to hammer Pelosi for “smearing Americans.”

I usually don’t follow the hype, but the numbers in Michigan must be really bad for Pelosi to say something like that.

She definitely didn’t do Joe any favors.

It’s bad enough that an entire community consisting of your base won’t meet with you. Only to be followed by what I would argue one of the most powerful Democrats in the nation threatening groups protesting with an investigation.
