Pelosi Answers Questions About Biden

Never underestimate the Democrat machine…ever! I think 2022 taught a lot of people that. But the Democrat party is in rough shape.

There are reports that Vice President Kamala Harris is not on speaking terms with Democrat Senators. On top of that, Biden assembled what has the possibility of being referred to by historians as one of the worst administrations since the Carter administration.

Shortly before Biden gave his State of the Union address, there were reports that he would announce he was running for reelection in 2024. According to CBS News, the rumor first reported by CNN was confirmed on 1/19/2023:

President Biden is likely to announce his bid for reelection “not long after” he delivers his State of the Union address on Feb. 7, a source with knowledge of the ongoing planning confirmed to CBS News.

The exact date of Mr. Biden’s announcement has not been finalized yet, according to the source, who said, “This has always, always been our plan. State of the Union first, candidate later.”

CNN was the first to report the approximate timing of the president’s announcement.

Then in late February Politico reported that the Biden team may have pumped the brakes on their announcement.

People in the president’s orbit say there is no hard deadline or formal process in place for arriving at a launch date decision. According to four people familiar with the president’s thinking, a final call has been pushed aside as real-world events intervene.

According to the Politico report, Democrats don’t want Joe to wait too long.

“Obviously, it creates doubts and problems if he waits and waits and waits,” said Democratic strategist Mark Longabaugh, who continues to believe Biden will run.. “But if he were to somehow not declare ‘til June or something, I think some people would be stomping around.”

What was pretty wild was Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s comments when she was asked about Biden.

Good judgment? Remember when inflation was “transitory?”
