Demonstration Protests Conflict In Israel In NYC

On October 26, 2023, a pro-Palestinian rally took place in New York City that started outside the New York Stock Exchange and moved through Lower Manhattan.

The rally that showcased at least 350 protestors started on Wall Street and marched north.

The rally began outside the Stock Exchange to protest companies that were making bombs being dropped in Gaza.

“I am a Muslim, and I support my Palestinian brothers and everything that’s going on in the world right now,” one demonstrator said.

“The reason why people are fighting — do you think these people are crazy? Like, these people– There’s a reason for it. There’s a reason why, after one incident that happened on October 7th, these are the lives that have every day for the Palestinians for the past 75 years,” another demonstrator said.

At one point, police had to intervene when the protestors ran into a group of people putting up flyers of kidnapped Israelis.

President Biden has given Israel steadfast support. Most recently, the United States attacked Iranian positions in Lebanon. Joe’s decision to support Israel has caused his approval rating to drop 11 points in just a few weeks to 75% (it was really that high? among Dems?).

According to a report from Axios, “less than half (48%) of Gen Z and millennials believe the U.S. should publicly voice support for Israel, according to a recent NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll.”

So far, Biden has waived off far-left protestors, but here was what they said during the protest in New York.

Meanwhile, the Biden administration ordered US forces to carry out multiple air strikes in Syria.

The strikes may have been a response to attacks made on US forces in the last 10 days.
