RFK Jr. Family Responds To Decision

Well, folks, grab your popcorn because the Kennedy family drama just took a turn straight out of a soap opera—if that soap opera had a left-wing, virtue-signaling twist. Over the weekend, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. decided to endorse GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, and, predictably, the Kennedy clan lost their collective minds.

Kerry Kennedy, the family’s self-appointed gatekeeper of all things “moral,” was quick to blast her own brother on social media, accusing him of betraying the Kennedy legacy. Because nothing says “family values” quite like publicly shaming your sibling to score political points, right?

In a statement that dripped with melodrama, Kerry declared, “Our brother Bobby’s decision to endorse Trump today is a betrayal of the values that our father and our family hold most dear.” Ah yes, those legendary Kennedy values—because we all know how the Kennedys are paragons of virtue and stability. If hypocrisy were currency, the Kennedy family would have an endless supply.

But Kerry didn’t stop there. She took her crusade to MSNBC, where she practically disowned RFK Jr. on live television. With all the grace of a reality TV meltdown, she accused her brother of “desecrating” their father’s memory by daring to support a candidate who doesn’t align with her leftist ideals.

Kerry, darling, do you even hear yourself? It’s rich to hear you talk about “desecration” when your family’s name is synonymous with scandal and corruption. If anything, RFK Jr. is the one bringing some fresh air to the Kennedy legacy by showing that maybe—just maybe—independent thought still exists in your family.

And while Kerry was busy playing the martyr on TV, RFK Jr. responded with—get this—dignity. He acknowledged his family’s concerns, expressed his love for them, and emphasized the importance of being able to disagree while still maintaining family bonds. Imagine that—a Kennedy who actually believes in family unity over political grandstanding. It’s almost like he’s the adult in the room while the rest of them are stuck in perpetual adolescence, desperately seeking approval from the woke mob.

“My family is – I understand that they’re troubled by my decisions. I love my family. I feel like we were raised in a milieu where we were encouraged to debate each other and debate ferociously and passionately about things and still love each other,” he added. “They’re free to take their positions on these issues. There are many, many members of my family working at my campaign and who are supporting me.”

“I think we all need to be able to disagree with each other and still love each other,” he said.

So, let’s give credit where it’s due. RFK Jr. is taking the high road, even while his own family tramples over him to showcase their “correct” political views. Meanwhile, Kerry has kindly reminded us of yet another treasured Kennedy value: putting politics above family. Thanks for the refresher, Kerry. We almost forgot what your clan really stands for.
