Walz Responds To Biden’s Comments

When it comes to hypocrisy, the Democrats are setting new records every day. They tout “unity” and insist they’re the ones who will heal America, all while throwing slurs and insults at millions of Americans they’ve decided are simply “deplorable” or “garbage.” And this isn’t one isolated moment of name-calling or even just a few slip-ups. We’ve got a list of examples a mile long, and it just keeps growing.

Remember when Joe Biden labeled Trump supporters as “garbage”? It was a throwaway line for him, but it left a stinging message: he’s perfectly fine dismissing huge swaths of Americans because they dared to support his political opponent. Biden didn’t stop there. He’s also repeatedly painted Trump supporters as “extremists” and even hinted that they’re as dangerous as terrorists. A national leader alienating millions in one go, and then they claim they’re promoting “unity?” That’s rich.

And then there’s Tim Walz, Minnesota’s Democratic governor, who jumped right into the fray. After the Trump rally at Madison Square Garden, Walz made headlines by comparing it to a “N*zi rally.” Yes, you heard that right. He equated thousands of Americans of all backgrounds coming together for a political rally to some of the most hateful gatherings in modern history. Then, when pressed about it, he doubled down! He claimed he was speaking about the “hate” that, in his view, “emanated” from that rally. Really? Because from the outside, the only hate spewed around was coming from Walz himself, demonizing regular Americans who were simply showing their support.

Now here’s the kicker: when Walz faced the press, he deflected every question about Biden’s “garbage” comments and Harris’ tirade against Trump. Did Walz see any inconsistency? Any issue with painting fellow Americans with such a broad, hateful brush? Not a bit. Instead, he spun it like that’s just the way things are, calling Harris’ rhetoric “presidential” and dodging questions on whether Biden’s divisive comments should disqualify him. This, somehow, is their version of “unity.”

And while this all sounds outrageous, here’s what makes it even worse: this is nothing new. This toxic playbook goes back years. Just look back at Hillary Clinton’s “basket of deplorables” line, or Barack Obama talking about those “bitter clingers” holding onto their guns and religion. They’ve been calling Republicans “Hitler” for years. It’s not just rhetoric—it’s an entire worldview where anyone who opposes their agenda isn’t just wrong but morally irredeemable.

CBS’s Tony Dokoupil finally brought up a valid point, pressing Walz on this very pattern. He asked if the Democrats’ long history of name-calling might “undercut” their message of unity. Walz’s response? Of course, he didn’t think so. He argued, with a straight face, that Democrats are all about unity—it’s Trump who sows division. It’s an Orwellian twist: when Democrats insult, vilify, and marginalize, they call it “uniting.” When Republicans point out the hypocrisy, they’re the divisive ones.

So what’s the real message here? It’s this: “We can say whatever we want because our cause is righteous. The other side? They don’t deserve respect.” This approach is wearing thin. Americans have noticed that the call for unity only applies if you’re on their side.
