Donald Trump Brings Mike Tyson To Syracuse Rally For Gubernatorial Push

Mike Tyson stood on stage in Syracuse on October 10, 2026, right next to Donald Trump. The former heavyweight champion looked fit and happy as he thanked the president.

Tyson said he wouldn’t be there without Trump’s support. “I’m just happy to be up here with my president, President Trump,” he told the crowd, according to RedState. There is absolutely no way I would be here without a president such as Donald Trump. Thank you!

President Trump used the event to push for Bruce Blakeman in the upcoming election. Starting with Kathy Hochul, he called for voters to clean house in Albany on November 3rd. The president claimed New York has become a mess of high costs and crime.

He cited numbers from his own reports, stating that migrant criminals who have been arrested include those with convictions for thousands of assaults and robberies. Trump argued that current policies let these people loose on innocent families. He promised that if Blakeman wins, he will help stop sanctuary cities.

Trump focused heavily on the high cost of living for New Yorkers. He said the state has great oil reserves but isn’t allowed to use them. He also highlighted a $100 billion semiconductor project that will bring 50,000 jobs to the region. This project aims to build the largest facility of its kind in the Western Hemisphere.

Trump made a specific promise to Blakeman during the speech, stating he would arrive in 24 hours if Governor Bruce Blakeman summoned him to fix issues in New York City or the dangerous areas of this state he loves so much. He claimed that under Blakeman, the state could go from high crime to almost no crime in two months.

Blakeman joined Trump on stage to thank the president and the crowd. He said the goal is to keep young people in the state by creating good jobs. The rally also featured support for congressional candidates in New York’s 22nd and 21st Districts.
