FBI Investigates Utah Group After Leaked Threats To Kill Conservatives

The FBI visited the homes of three members of a Utah anti-ICE group on Friday. People of Provo Against ICE reported that agents sought activists Venna Burkhardt, Collin Grannis, and Chase Barrett. This action follows leaked audio where members discussed killing political enemies. The Washington Examiner first reported the FBI’s visit to the group’s members.

Leaked recordings from the group show disturbing plans for violence against conservatives. One person said, “You just can’t get away from capitalism,” to which another replied, “No, unless we kill everybody.” A member allegedly added that “you also have to kill their children.” These comments targeted politicians and billionaires specifically. The Cougar Chronicle first uncovered these audio files.

The group reportedly praised artwork with the words “shoot Trump” in a chat. A photo shared in their Discord group showed this violent imagery. The Washington Examiner noted that a Venezuelan national tied to the group was detained by ICE. This man reportedly helped create the violent anti-Trump art that sparked the investigation.

Leaders in the group told a leftist outlet that the FBI visits were meant to scare them. Fight Back! News reports indicate the FBI’s investigations into People of Provo Against ICE aim to intimidate activists. They urged members to stay silent. Chrisley Carpio, a member of the Freedom Road Socialist Organization, stated, “We need to meet them with a wall of silence.”

This story matters because it shows how radical groups operate in our towns. When people talk about killing children and politicians, the law must step in. The FBI acted quickly to find those who made these threats.

Conservative families should feel safe knowing federal agents are investigating these threats. The group listed specific enemies they deemed deserving of death. They even discussed “reeducation” for those they did not want to kill. This is not a protest; it is a plot against the American way of life.

Some leaders in the movement claim they cannot be stopped by sanctions. They believe violence is the only way to fight the current system. Law enforcement scrutiny has historically targeted the group, the Washington Examiner reported. They have warned supporters about FBI sightings in the past. This pattern shows a deep distrust of legal processes.

The group’s leaders say protesting is not a crime. They argue that they will not stop fighting back against ICE. However, talking about murder changes the nature of their actions completely. This language crosses the line from speech to threat.

No response was provided by the FBI’s Salt Lake City office when requests for comment were made.
