Recently, the 80th anniversary of the Normandy invasion was remembered in France.
The country pulled out all the stops for veterans that were able to attend.

This has to be the longest standing ovation for anyone or anything I have ever witnessed.
4000 high school students in Normandy, France standing to honor our World War II veterans.
This area in northern France has not forgotten the events of 80 years ago.
Honored and humbled… pic.twitter.com/RdZqhzpuyH

Former failed presidential democrate nominee, Hillary Clinton decided that she was also going to talk about Normandy.
“Eighty years ago today, thousands of brave Americans fought to protect democracy on the shores of Normandy. This November, all we have to do is vote,” Hillary wrote. She then promptly locked the post down so people couldn’t comment.

There is no equivalency between what the brave allied soldiers faced on D-Day and anything going on right now.
None.
If there is one theme liberals always try to attached themselves is that of the United States veteran. Often, lefty politicians tried to lump their plight into that of the veteran when, in reality, they were too chicken to make the sacrifice and sign on the line.
