The border continues to be a problem for President Joe Biden, and for the fourth time, the media claims they have a “scoop.”
Let’s rewind a bit…
On February 7, 2024, Biden said he is considering doing an executive order on the border.
Then nothing happened until February 21, when it was reported that Biden was considering an executive order on the border.
About a month later on March 24th, it was reported that Biden was considering an executive order on the border.
(are you noticing a theme here?)
Now, on April 10th it is being reported that Biden is planning to limit crossings at the border by the end of the April.
during a Univision interview Biden seemed to allude that he is considering an executive order at the border. Axios reported that if it does happen that it would be by the end of April.
What’s holding it up? Lefties worried about their base.

We’re told there’s a fierce debate internally about the legality and politics of a Trump-like lockdown. But Biden, briefed on polls of rising voter anger, wants a dramatic step.
The provision Biden is eyeing would restrict the ability of immigrants to claim asylum, and doesn’t require congressional approval, Axios reported in February.
However it should be noted that Biden has never needed Congress to act, he could shut the border down today if he wanted to and it would be within his right to do so.
Biden claimed it’s taking so long because his staff is worried about the court. More than likely it’s about the backlash because “he’d be taking a page from former President Trump.”
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez slammed Biden the second time he floated shutting the border down and compared him to Trump.

“Some are suggesting that I should just go ahead and try it,” Biden said during the interview. “And if I get shut down by the court, I get shut down by the court.”
But he plans to “lean in.”
Is Biden going to do an executive order? Who knows. But if he does, grab your popcorn because the left is going to have a melt down.
