NY AG Comments On Interest Amount After Ruling

Recently, we’ve watched Fani Willis take the stand, and it didn’t go well.

At one point, she was deemed a hostile witness and had an air of elitism about her that ended up backfiring.

We previously reported, about how damaging her testimony was. Two clips below are just a taste of the highlights.

Well, it appears that New York Attorney General Letitia James is now taunting former President Trump which is highly unprofessional.

“In a massive victory, we won our case against Donald Trump for engaging in years of incredible financial fraud to enrich himself. Trump, Donald Trump, Jr., Eric Trump, and his former executives must pay over $450 million in disgorgement and interest,” James wrote the day of the ruling.

James has denied having a “personal vendetta” against the former president; however, she has now taken to social media to brag about the accruing interest in his fine.

Every day she posts the updated tally.

The president’s lawyers have filed notices of appeal asking a mid-level court to overturn the ruling.

“We trust that the Appellate Division will overturn this egregious fine and take the necessary steps to restore the public faith in New York’s legal system,” Trump lawyer Alina Habba said.

James’ social media posts are giving credence to the fact that the case against Trump is personal, not to mention possibly an ethics violation.
