McCarthy is on fire!
It was Democrat Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi that broke decades of tradition by stripping members like Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene from committees. The move made by Pelosi was petty politics at its worst.
After years of a Democrat who may have allegedly slept with a Chinese spy and Adam Schiff warping classified information from his committee, Republicans are fighting back.
On January 24, 2023, Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy officially rejected the Democrat’s appointment of Rep. Adam Schiff and Rep. Eric Swalwell to the House Intelligence Committee.

After the news broke a snarky reporter asked McCarthy why Rep. George Santos gets a committee position but Schiff doesn’t.
“He got elected by his district,” McCarthy said, but was cut off.
“That’s not an answer to my question,” the reporter complained whined.
“Let me be very clear and respectful to you. You asked me a question. When I answer it, it’s the answer to your question. You don’t get to determine whether I answer your question or not, okay? In all respect,” McCarthy chided.

Rep. Adam Schiff isn’t handling this well.
Kevin McCarthy just kicked me and @RepSwalwell off the Intelligence Committee.
This is petty, political payback for investigating Donald Trump.
If he thinks this will stop me, he will soon find out just how wrong he is.

Do you know what would be really fun? McCarthy should form a special committee and have Rep. George Santos lead it, then place Schiff on it.
