We recently reported about a social media post written by Team USA gymnast star Simone Biles.
The highly acclaimed gymnast had just clinched her second gold medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics. This is the sixth of her career, won in the individual all-around event.
When responding to a comment from Ricky Davila, a singer-songwriter from Philadelphia. Davila had tweeted: “Simone Biles being the GOAT, winning Gold medals and dominating gymnastics is her black job.”

The social media post seems to be a response to remarks made by former President Donald Trump during a speech at the National Associate of Black Journalists convention. Trump reportedly said, “I will tell you that coming from the border, are millions and millions of people that happen to be taking Black jobs.”
Well, since making the little jab at Trump things haven’t gone her way.
When Biles was going fo her fourth Olympic gold medal in Paris this past Monday she fell off the balance beam midway through her routine.

Simone Biles was not alone in her disappointment. American compatriot Suni Lee also encountered a setback when she fell off the beam during her routine. D
Italy’s Alice D’Amato and Manila Esposito secured the gold and bronze, respectively, while China’s Zhou Yaqin won the silver.
When it was time for the finals in the floor competition Biles stumbled again after receiving several deductions for going out of bounds. Instead of gold she earned silver.
