Dan Bongino, former NYPD officer, Secret Service agent, and one of the loudest voices against government corruption, is now the deputy director of the FBI. And let’s just say, not everyone is thrilled—especially the bad actors who’ve spent years turning federal law enforcement into a political weapon.

President Trump made the announcement on Sunday, calling Bongino “a man of incredible love and passion for our Country.” Bongino will serve under FBI Director Kash Patel, forming what can only be described as a nightmare team for the D.C. establishment. With Pam Bondi running the Department of Justice, the old days of selective prosecution and left-wing political targeting are over.
Auburn basketball coach Bruce Pearl wasted no time in letting the corruptocrats know what’s coming. “The bad guys best keep their head on a swivel!” he posted on X. Translation? There’s a new sheriff in town, and this one isn’t beholden to the Beltway.
Bongino has spent years exposing how federal agencies, particularly the FBI, were turned into a partisan hit squad under Obama and Biden. He’s called out everything from the Russia hoax to the weaponization of the justice system against Trump supporters. Now, he gets a front-row seat inside the very institution he’s been warning America about.
And he’s no lightweight. Bongino’s resume speaks for itself: NYPD, Secret Service, a master’s in psychology from City University of New York, and an MBA from Penn State. He’s protected U.S. presidents and spent years in law enforcement before becoming a conservative powerhouse in media. Now, he’s walking away from a lucrative career as one of the most successful podcasters in America to clean up an FBI that’s spent years protecting political elites instead of enforcing the law.
Of course, the usual suspects are already panicking. The establishment media, the bureaucrats, and the so-called “public servants” who have turned a blind eye to real crime while chasing down political enemies are bracing for impact. For years, the left weaponized the FBI against their opponents—from the fake Russia collusion narrative to the targeting of parents at school board meetings. That ends now.
Trump put it best when he said, “Fairness, Justice, Law and Order will be brought back to America, and quickly.”
